  I chose this model over the Measure Master Pro 4020 as it has more features like the Stair and framing functions. Quick calculations for board feet and seemingly everything I need on the job. I was happy to discover it has a bright yellow hinged cover ( not shown in photo)included so keys are protected and its easy to find in your bag. I have not had time to look at the CD that came with it. I am just figuring it out as I go and with help from the quick reference guide which fits neatly in a little panel on the back so its there when you need it. This works for now.I am sure there is lots more it can do. Great product.

  This is the perfect calculator for anyone who needs to calculate feet and inches or metric and you can calculate length and angles without trig. It replaced 3 calculators.

  I have other Calculated Industries products and they are all professional grade equipment, very reliable and easy to use, this product is no exception. Instructions are easy to follow, product makes calculations in feet / inches, square yards, cubic yards easy, as well as other more difficult calculations easy to do. If you are not good with numbers or hate math, this calculator is for you. I have their mortgage calculator and digital measuring, all are easy to use and the best products available.

  Very disappointed with this calculator. It is very handy for working out all your calculations and simple to use,but I just have it a week, I took it on the job site it fell of the top of my toolbox about 18 inches of a fall and when I opened it up the screen was shattered ,was not very happy, hoping amazon will refund me.My advice to anyone is be very careful with it.

  After avoiding buying a construction calculator for years, mainly justifying $50 for something that didn’t have a blade attached to it, I finally bought this calculator and it has transformed the way I estimate, frame, roof, etc… I wish I had bought this calculator 8 years ago. It has survived a drop from the top of a huge, steep roof sliding 18 feet then free falling to the deck 12 feet below with the only damage being a broken hinge on the cover. Still works like new even a year after the fall.
