Good question. What “buyer” is allowed to leave feedback for a retail store? Uhh .. . duh none, so that doesn’t even compare! Let me also remind you that EBAY IS NOT A RETAIL STORE IT’S AN AUCTION!!! They are apples and oranges!!!
They are idiots!!!

Thats really to bad that happened its a shame really that someone would leave you negative feedback after not communicating with you. I can definitely see why it would make you mad.

I know a LOT of people that have dumped Ebay. Including myself after 5 years. Just tooooo much BS for such a small service.
Craigslist is the way to go for us now. -

Sellers whining about not able to leave “Buyer” a negative Feedback: What store do you know that leaves Neg FB for their buyers? Do Buyers look at a list when they walk through the doors? NO! I see it as not able to use your vindictiveness to return Neg Feeback for being dishonest in the first place. And if your worried for Credit Card dispute from banks from bad buyers, DON’T ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS! eBay started out for junk/treasure home sellers, not huge greedy businesses hogging up everything.

damn right you cant rate us buyers negatively if we PAY for the damn item from u, scumbags! once i got a neg feedback, b/c i left a seller one after 2 months of not receiving anything and not hearing from the seller. sellers like that should be banned from selling online. period.

ebay is broken, big time. they don’t care about sellers. I won’t list on ebay until their policies change. I’m a seller with 100% positive feedback . and they are walking away from my money and trying to steal it thru paypal. How can such a good thing go so bad?
Soon they will have serious competition somewhere, somebody will create a viable site and the word will get out, that this new company is the one. That’s when ebay might wake up, and maybe come crawling back. Sorry, too late ASSHOLES -

Ebay and Wal mart are dangers to the econamy. They Monopalize. Buisenesses arund town lose revenue becouse when people get there paycheck, instead of spending and putting back into community buiseness, people spend there money on that nice, vintage 1980 Voltron figure. I not long ago got ripped off by a seller. I bought a figure out of New York. I sent $30.00 money order becouse Ebay let them claim that there pay pal was busted. I called the guy and he said that he had money noe and my figure!!!

it just occurred to me easiest way to get back at feebay is to leave feedback mentioning something like thank you for your business join us at ebid, net its perfectly within policy since ebay calls it open honest forum lol

so essentially i lost the money and the item and had to pay paypal back the overage in my account. like stated time and time again and in this video. PayPal and eBay offers absolutely no protection for sellers. they only offer the illusion of such protection. where’s the fucking humanity? where’s is their conscious? i don’t honestly understand how these ceo’s can honestly feel good about what the fuck is going on with their company. it’s just plain immoral and unfair.

the buyer filed a claim through paypal and even though i provided ample evidence to support my claim(proof and date of receipt, prove of the time buyer contacted me to, return policy, the actual listing that stated that buyer had 3 days to notify me about anything or if the product didn’t meet their satisfaction, etc.) i highly doubt PayPal even read any of the evidence i provided because they issued the buyer the refund not only putting me in the red but i never received my item back.

mrdrums38 November 27th, 2009 at 08:59
same here but my story is a bit different. the terms of my return policy stated that buyer had 3 days from receipt of the item to notify me about any defects or damages on the item. now the buyer waits almost 2 months before claiming that the item came damaged. he asked for a refund which i denied due to the fact that over a 2 month period i don’t know what you have done to the item to alter it and then claim that it arrived that way.well least to say he filed a claim through paypal

Ebay dont even have customer service by phone…that right there should be a signal to leave Ebay in the dust! They handle everything by online chat, and that is just so unprofessional for a huge popular business like Ebay. Amazon seem more professional, and at least they not afraid to speak to their customers over the phone. Highly recommand Amazon!! Not to mention how preposterous Paypal policy is, and they should NOT have the right to hold funds, that sellers earned and deserve!

you are what they call a FUCKIN idiot. Its buyers like you that make eBay a shitty place.

i had a buyer that i didn’t trust claiming he didn’t receive the item,i had proof i shipped the package but still had to pay the full refund to the buyer and lost a lot of money because of this!
the buyer didn’t even ask me personally about the shipment he claimed his money back without communicating at all,i couldn’t even give the buyer negative feedback,i bet he did receive the item without having to pay a single dime!!
Paypal decided to refund the total amount without any research!!!

feePrey stock continues to plummet, as Donahoe shows that in 6 months he can destroy an entire company. ioffer, ubid and amazon are experiencing massive growth now, as well as OLA and sellers creating their own auctions with auctionanything software. emovieposters claims $50k per week in volume using auctionanything software.
eBay’s gonna figure out that they just p*ssed off the wrong people (their customers), and their customers are taking buyers elsewhere.

Buyers not recieving negative feedback is the dumbest shitest rule ever ARRRRRRRRRR. I have emailed ebay 4 times in the past week because of buyers noy paying 4 TIMES!!!!!!!
Untill this shit idea is sorted i wont be using ebay again, and i would advise anyone else if you dont want to experience these buyers who provide non payment, to do the same. -
frl287 November 27th, 2009 at 08:59
That’s a risk you take, though, as a buyer i was fortunate never to get ripped off. A system in which sellers have no rights will lead to an increase in people trying to rip them off or leaving negative feedback for no reason. One-way feedback only ruins ebay completely.
